TOURNAMENT NOTES

Tie"
The 2012 featured 6 tied matches,
that exceeds the mark
4 set in 2010. Lee Eighmy, Jr. and
Dan Francis both had
3 ties. Francis now has the second
most tied matches
ever, 5, even though he has only
competed in 3 finals.
Pat Malone holds the record with
7.
"It's
Really a Tie"
Except for those pesky ... or
valuable bonus pins !
Lee Eighmy, Jr. and Mike Shady
both shot an 8-game
total of 1,737 on Saturday. Eighmy
led by 45 because of
and additional win and a tie. On
Sunday, Shady and
Eighmy again shot the same
8-game actual score, 2,029.
Eighmy's two ties accounted for
much of the margin
that helped him capture the 2012
Championship
They
bowled 16 games and shot the
same score !!!!!
