TOURNAMENT NOTES

Mike Shady had the highest game of the finals,
a 289 in game 1 and also was the only finalist 
to record 16 games of 200 or better.

First time finalist Tom Gage was quick out of the blocks on
 Sunday with a 267-244-257-258-268 start. He cooled to
224 in game 6 and closed with 174 and 197 to shoot 
the days highest block of 1,889 ... a 236 average.

In winning just 7 games over the 2 rounds Chuck 
Schommer
averaged 231.1, his opponents averaged 
218.4 followed by the 216.1 averaged against
George Warren, Jr. which was 2nd highest.
Steve Warren had the kindest opponents, they 
averaged just 192.9 while Mark Hook's opponents
managed just 197.8 on average, these were the only
finalists that had opponents below the 200 average level.

The field averaged 209.23 at Lake City on Saturday
and averaged 206.64 at Greengarden on Sunday.

QUALIFIER
January 4th at Rolling Meadows and January 5th at Classic Lanes
FINALS
January 11th at North East and January 12th at Eastland Bowl
